Francis of Assisi composed the Canticle of the Sun (All Creatures, Worship God Most High!) shortly before his death. In it, God is praised through familial creation: brothers wind and fire, sister water, and mother earth. The hymn commands each creature to find its voice, praising God in their very beings. On Sunday, October 3rd we celebrated Francis of Assisi and his legacy by turning our attention to our beloved pets alongside the manifold creatures who fill earth, sky, and sea.

On July 25th we remembered God's love in the form of a child who came to save us all.
